Licensing Information
Boat
licensing responsibility has passed to the Stroud Valleys
Canal Company. The current policy of SVCC is to allow use of the canal
of visiting boats within its ownership at the users' risk until such
times as there is a connection to the rest of the inland waterway
network. Mooring charges apply for boats staying on the canal for more
than a few days.
Enquiries should be made to:
Stroud Valleys Canal Company
Please note that ongoing restoration work will mean that significant
sections of the canal may be unavailable for navigation for various
periods but as work is completed, sections currently unsuitable for use
should become so.
Navigation information can be found on the SVCC webpages HERE.
