South west abutment exposed - 7th March 2005 *The* 1924 *mass concrete was found to be quite badly cracked due to the demolition work in 1970* . Extensive remains of the towpath ramp retaining wall were also found quite close to the surface.	1924 south abutment exposed - 7th March 2005
